I am committed to trying to minimise any negative effects my business may have on the environment and endeavour to use as much recycled or recyclable packaging as possible in the delivery of your jewellery. Please dispose of any unwanted packaging responsibly.
POSTAGE & DELIVERIES
Sorry! I've had to put the rates up a bit due to recent price rises of postal service.
The delivery charges will be added when you place your order. I will try my best to dispatch all orders within 4 working days of receiving payment but this cannot always be guaranteed.
I will aim to get your item to you as quickly as possible, but although I love living on a small island in the Atlantic it can have its draw backs, one of which is that the postal service is less than ideal. So please allow at least 14-28 days for National/European deliveries and probably even longer for the rest of the world depending on your location.
All items are sent using registered post, so I know they will get to you in the end and I will send you a tracking number when your item is on the way so you can follow its progress.
I do not accept responsibility for loss, damage or delay in transit of any items in the postal service once they have been sent.
Items shipped outside of the European Union may be subject to import duties, taxes and / or charges which are not included in the total cost of your order, nor will they be covered or reimbursed by VEGA ISLA.
VEGA ISLA is not responsible for any delays due to customs/postage issues.
Please check with your country’s customs office to determine if there are any additional costs prior to placing your order.
If you have not received your order within 28 working days of dispatch please get in contact by email with me and I will try to help.
INCORRECT SHIPPING INFORMATION
Please, make sure that the address you have given is correct. If you find out that you have placed your order with an incorrect address, please contact me as soon as possible and we will try to solve the problem. However, once an order has been sent, I am sorry but I am unable to change the address.
If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for the re-delivery charge. VEGA ISLA is not responsible for packages delivered incorrectly or lost due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
I hope that you will be satisfied with your purchase, but if for some reason you would like to return or exchange you item or if you have any problems with your order, please contact me within 14 days of receiving your item, as long as the following terms are adhered to:
For any returns or exchanges please make sure to contact me first by email. I cannot offer exchanges or returns on items purchased from this site or any items purchased from me through other retail outlets without prior notification and response from me by email.
To be eligible for an exchange or return, your item must not have been worn or damaged. It must be in the same condition that you received it and in the original packaging.
For hygiene reasons I cannot accept returns or exchanges on earrings unless they are proven to be faulty on arrival.
Please remember any slight imperfections in the natural and handmade products I offer are your guarantee of authenticity. Many of these products are one of a kind, they are handmade to be unique not perfect!
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately I cannot offer you a refund, exchange or replacement under any circumstances. Please do not send your purchase back without previously contacting by email and being advised to do so. I reserve the right to refuse any exchanges, refunds or returns under any circumstances.
In order to complete your return, I may also require a receipt or proof of purchase.
I would always advise that items are returned via recorded postal or delivery service which is trackable and covers insurance. Please note the customer is responsible for the cost of returning goods for refund or exchange .
REFUNDS (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Then your refund will be processed and credited to you, minus any postage or costs incurred by Vega Isla.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable)
Please allow at least 5 working days for your bank to process your refund. If you check your account and the funds still don't appear then contact your credit card company and your bank, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact me via this website.
SALE ITEMS (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
EXCHANGES (if applicable)
I only replace items if they are defective or damaged within 14 days of arrival and under normal usage. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send me an email at Vega and I will contact you with the return address.
RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
Please remember that I am a small local business and many of the items I offer are one of a kind or of a limited quantity, so I am sorry if at any time the item you would like is out of stock or no longer available.
Silver is not an indestructible metal but it will stand the test of time if you treat it with care. As a general rule try to avoid contact with perfumes, hair products and harsh chemicals to preserve the colour and shine of your silver jewellery.
However it is the nature of silver to change colour over time and becomes darker and scratched with use. Please be aware that special finishes on items including brushed, plated/vermeil items will loose their colour or finish with use.
Please note that some people will have a tendency to turn silver black on contact against their skin, particularly silver chains. This does not mean the items are faulty or not solid silver. I accept no responsibility for items that have turned black due to contact with harsh chemicals or through contact with skin.
All crystals, gemstones and shells are natural and unique so they may vary slightly from the image you see in the picture, but I do my best to match general size, shape, and colour.
Slight cracks and imperfections are a normal feature of some shells and gemstones and do not mean that the item is faulty. Any slight imperfections in the natural products I offer are your guarantee of authenticity.
Please be aware that some natural gemstones, shells and pearls are very delicate and i therefore do not recommend that they be worn all the time. Depending on treatment and use these natural elements may loose their colour, lustre or dry out a become slightly cracked. This is a perfectly natural process but can be kept to a minimum by taking care when wearing, storing or cleaning your items.
Any personal customer information will not be knowingly shared/sold to any third party for any purposes and will only be used to complete the transaction and delivery of your purchase.
